Carman Rodriguez
Carman Rodriguez lives in a South Bronx housing project with her two children. She has held several administrative jobs over the years, but lack of a professional looking resume has hampered her job search. Finally, an ACCESS home computer from Per Scholas enabled Carman to create and customize her own resume and cover letters and explore job opportunities on-line.
In addition, her three year-old daughter is learning the alphabet from games on her favorite pbs.org website and her seven year old son's grades have improved now that he can spend more time on the computer instead of waiting on long lines at the library.
