After moving to South Florida, Jose was determined to make a career change. He started working with a relative fixing computers while also working on his CompTIA A+ certification with Per Scholas. Upon graduation, Jose left his family business and started developing a long term career in Information Technology as a Field Technician. After 2 years of experience, he was able to get a position in the IT department of an aircraft leasing company working in offices in Miami and New York. He is currently an IT professional earning almost double his original income since moving to South Florida.

Lisa D. had a clear career path set in wanting to become a Network Engineer, however, she has been working for more than 10 years in a different field.
