Demetria Cameron possesses more than 10 years of experience working in the nonprofit and higher education sectors. Her most recent roles include Marketing Project Coordinator and Human Resource Associate, both proudly held at the American Heart Association. Some of her best memories stem from the various trade shows and sponsorship efforts that she had the privilege of overseeing. While there she also served as Vice President of the Heart & Soul Employee Resource Group for 2 years, leading the charge for professional development and cultural inclusiveness amongst African and African-American employees. Demetria is a certified hybrid event manager, and a member of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events. She is a Dallas native with one son, loves history and enjoys crafting in her spare time.
