Jose F. Guerra
Founder and President
Mr. Jose F. Guerra is a Global IT executive who has successfully build collaborative relationships with c-level executives to help transform organizations. His expertise with multi-function, multi-industry, global initiatives have helped companies deploy innovative technology solutions to meet a diverse set of business objectives. He has led enterprise-wide initiatives in package implementation, analytics, mobility and software development across various business functions including supply chain, customer service, sales, marketing, and finance & accounting.
Jose is the founder and President of L5 Source, an IT consulting firm specializing in IT Strategy, Business Solutions, and Systems Integration. L5 Source has provided consulting services for large companies in the retail, energy, grocery, manufacturing, marketing, and health care industries. These have included organizing and executing a large portfolio of applications for a global energy company, designing and implementing security infrastructure for a health care organization, rolling out process improvements for a large Midwest electric utility for workforce and asset management, streamlining merchandise planning process for a large national grocery chain in the US, developing data management strategies for marketing and energy firms, IT strategic assessments for marketing and manufacturing firms, and software development services for a global retail eyewear company.
Prior to founding L5 Source, Jose held executive level IT positions at Procter & Gamble, Convergys, Jones Apparel, and Duke Energy. During his tenure at these companies, he helped reduce cost structures, improve cycle times, and deliver top line growth in both the US and in Mexico.
Jose currently serves on the Business Advisory Council for the Cincinnati Federal Reserve office, the MIS Advisory Board of the Williams College of Business at Xavier University and as an executive mentor at Xavier University’s Williams College of Business. He was co-founder and served on the board of directors of the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC), a national organization for senior Hispanic IT Executives, a co-founder and board member of the Cincinnati Chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA), and served on the board of directors of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Cincinnati.
Jose obtained his B.S. in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, Mexico, and his MBA from Xavier University, graduating Beta Gamma Sigma.
