Qwashemma Harmon joins Per Scholas as a Site Director for NCR, located in Silver Springs, Maryland. She is passionate about developing programming that creates solutions to the challenges to success for non-traditional students. Qwashemma is a graduate of William Paterson University and completed her Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Leadership Studies. She previously served as the Managing Assistant Director at a mid-sized public university, in which she executed the operations of the Department of Public Safety. Before that, she served as an Admissions Counselor and Student support specialist for an urban Community College, where she recruited and counseled prospective adult and non-traditional students. Qwashemma enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys attending sports events. She presently lives in Frederick, Maryland, together with her husband and two teenage children.
