Vic Dhanecha
Program Manager, Veteran Recruitment and Partnerships

Vic brings over 30 years of experience in program management and a deep passion for supporting veterans as they transition into the workforce across both government and private sectors. As Program Manager for Veteran Recruitment and Partnerships at ActivateWork, Vic leads the strategy for sourcing, screening, and building a strong pipeline of veteran candidates. His efforts ensure veterans gain access to ActivateWork’s bootcamps and are connected with viable employment opportunities upon graduation. Additionally, Vic develops and implements strategies for building partnerships with employers seeking to recruit veterans who have completed ActivateWork’s bootcamp programs.
Before joining ActivateWork, Vic served as Manager of DE&I at a global construction company, where he led the planning and execution of initiatives aimed at sourcing, hiring, and transitioning veterans, along with other talent pools, into the workforce. In this role, Vic provided strategic guidance, technical expertise, and program management across various U.S. geographic districts, enhancing their ability to recruit and transition veterans into meaningful careers. His efforts helped ensure veterans had a stronger opportunity for successful post-military careers across roles and responsibilities.
Previously, as Director at a national healthcare firm, Vic played a key role in developing processes, protocols, and tools that enhanced the company’s veteran recruitment efforts and improved the transition experience for veterans once hired. A strong advocate for veteran training and transition support, Vic also held leadership positions as Co-Chair of the National DE&I Committee at P.C.L. and Co-Chair of the National Veterans Advocacy Board at The Karis Group. Through these roles, he demonstrated his commitment to supporting veterans throughout the entire transition process from military service to corporate careers.
