Claire Cuno

Sr. Director, Learner Support, New York

Claire Cuno is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Master of Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and a Post-Masters Certificate in Clinical Work with Adolescents from the Silver School of Social Work at NYU. She has extensive experience in youth development, direct service, and program development, working in arts education, social justice, and workforce development. 

For the past 7 years, Claire has worked at Per Scholas in a variety of learner and alumni-facing settings. Currently, she serves as Senior Director of Learner Support, overseeing a national team of 12 committed to the success of Per Scholas learners and alumni alike.

Before joining Per Scholas, Claire served as a Site Director at Global Kids, where she developed programs and established a holistic case management system, and at the Whitney Museum, where she managed youth and community programming. Claire is passionate about workforce development and partnering with people to gain access to career opportunities that will provide a real thriving wage while supporting their goals, passions, and curiosity.
