Focusing Philanthropy is partnering with Per Scholas to raise $600,000 - through matching gifts for the 2019 Tech Powered by Families Campaign.
For every gift of $1,000 or more, Focusing Philanthropy will add $1 for every $2 raised until the $600,000 goal is reached.
This campaign will give 50 students in Columbus the opportunity to pursue tuition-free technology training, placement and career development services.
- 100% of proceeds for the Tech Powered by Families Campaign will go to Per Scholas
- The average pre-training annual income of Per Scholas adults is $9,000 and the post-training income of graduates 400% greater.
- 70% of Per Scholas students are Black or Hispanic and 30% are women.
