Before joining Per Scholas in February 2021, I worked as a Youth Counselor and Education Specialist at the Ali Forney Center, an organization that supports unstably-housed LGBTQIA+ young people.
I have also taught fine art and graphic design at Brooklyn College, Bronx Community College and Tufts. I worked as a graphic designer creating reports, infographics and data visualizations for the Vera Institute, the Brennan Center, the MacArthur Foundation and the John Jay Institute for Justice and Opportunity.
I am a first-generation college student, and received a BA from Rutgers University and an MFA from CUNY Brooklyn College. Currently, I’m pursuing a Masters of Science in Social Work, Policy Practice, at Columbia University.
