Gene Walker is a Pittsburgh native and graduate of Pittsburgh’s Peabody High School and received his bachelor’s degree in business and accounting from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Gene served as an Elder at Mosaic Community Church as well as the Co-chair of the Pittsburgh Presbytery New Worshipping Communities Commission. Gene serves as School Board Director for Pittsburgh Public Schools, and School Board President. Gene, along with his wife Jenny, have two children, Brady and Isabelle, both of whom are graduates of Pittsburgh Public Schools, and enjoy a house full of pets.
