About the partnership
Since 2011, Bank of America has provided funding and volunteers to support Per Scholas’ campuses across the country. They have also directly invested in Per Scholas alumni by hiring more than 60 graduates to join the Bank of America team. Through Bank of America’s generous support, Per Scholas has:
- Expanded our IT job training for diverse learners across six cities—Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbus, National Capital Region, and New York City—equipping them with the technical and professional skills needed to launch careers in tech
- Received a year’s worth of nonprofit leadership training through the Columbus Tech Women of Color Alliance to help advance our expertise in the sector and further our economic mobility efforts in the region
- Received three Neighborhood Builders awards to support leadership training and deepen our impact in New York, Columbus, and Baltimore
- Provided learners with key professional insights through corporate volunteer events such as mock interviews, engaging Bank of America employees to support learners nationally
