Per Scholas Supports Legislation to Expand Investment in Evidence-Based Workforce Training

Per Scholas is proud to support the reintroduction of the Better Jobs Through Evidence and Innovation Act, legislation that would expand federal investment in workforce development programs with a proven track record of helping workers access quality careers.

Introduced by U.S. Senators Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) and Lisa Blunt Rochester (D-Del.), the legislation would establish a Workforce Development Innovation Fund at the U.S. Department of Labor to support evidence-based employment and training programs, evaluate emerging strategies, and scale approaches that improve outcomes for workers and employers.

As the economy continues to evolve and demand for skilled talent grows, investments in effective workforce solutions are critical to expanding access to economic mobility.
