Amber Braaten is an IS Service Desk Controller at Master Electronics, a major company in distributing electrical components worldwide. She is a Per Scholas Phoenix graduate and current student, completing the IT program and continuing to grow with many other programs including Python, Data Analytics, and Net+. In her current role as an IS Service Desk Controller, Amber goes about her day being the positive ‘face’ of the IT Desk, assigning tickets to IT Analysts, collaborating with her team, and learning all she can as she goes.

Amber started out in the industry at a very young age working with her father and learning Programming. She recently rediscovered her love for computers all over again when she had a position as a Computer Repair Technician in Mesa, AZ. At the same time as homeschooling her youngest 4 children, she decided to go back to school and learn more. Her quest for knowledge is a never ending drive.
