Powered by TEKsystems, these courses are designed to prepare candidates from any background for the tech industry with in-demand roles with TEKsystems. Course curriculum, campus, and start dates are announced 8-12 weeks prior to the course start depending on demand at the qualifying campus.

IT Support offers the opportunity to earn the Google IT Support Professional Certificate and the CompTIA A+ certification, equipping you with the knowledge to fill a wide range of entry-level technology jobs. Recommended starting point for learners with no previous tech work experience or coursework.

The 15-week Software Engineering course dives deep into every aspect of software engineering - computer science, React, Node, design patterns & system architecture, and more. The tech industry is rapidly changing, so the curriculum is reviewed and updated on a bi-quarterly basis. Training is currently offered online. Previous knowledge recommended.
Cloud
This 15-week skills development training prepares individuals for positions in the cloud through real-world, scenario-based learning, labs, and coursework. Currently offered online. Previous tech work experience or education preferred.

Our tuition-free cybersecurity training based in North Carolina offers the opportunity to earn the Cybersecurity Analyst Certification (CySA+), equipping you with fundamental concepts in security specialties and hands-on training to enter this ever growing field as a cybersecurity analyst. Per Scholas’ free IT training is a program designed to provide tuition-free training in various aspects of information technology to residents of the North Carolina area. This training is open to anyone who wants to unlock their potential, skills, and knowledge in the field, regardless of their prior experience or financial resources. We’re able to provide free training through grant funding and do not ever ask for payment or income sharing from our graduates.

Per Scholas offers our tuition-free training in-person, remote, and hybrid, depending on the courses in North Carolina. Our course schedule constantly changes as we schedule our 3-4 month sessions, including whether courses are online or in-person. Our free IT training program in North Carolina is open to anyone who meets the income requirements, wants to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of information technology, and is a resident of the North Carolina metro area. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and experience levels to apply and join our community of learners in North Carolina.
Our courses in North Carolina are 12-16 weeks (3-4 months), depending on the course. The time commitment includes full-time (40 hours per week), Monday-Friday.
Per Scholas does not pay learners to attend training. This is because we offer up to $15k of cost-free training to each learner as well as 2 years of additional training opportunities, coaching, and professional development. On a case-by-case basis, our learners may be eligible for direct financial assistance. Each learner has a dedicated Learner Support Manager and Financial Coach to support them throughout the course and determine if they are able to receive additional financial resources when available.
