Craig Mack is the Site Director of Per Scholas, Los Angeles. For over 13 years, Craig has worked with vulnerable populations such as those who are justice impacted, economically disadvantaged, and unhoused. His commitment as being a leader within these communities span several employment sectors including nonprofit community-based organizations, workforce development, and higher education. As a trauma informed leader, he understands that barriers towards education and/or employment can significantly impact interpersonal communication, professional development, self-motivation, and self-efficacy.
He believes that mentorship has the potential to be transformative for those working through various obstacle levels as they realize their growth has the power to be limitless. Craig has been recognized for his innovative approach towards facilitation and curriculum development with andragogy at its core. He holds a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Management with a concentration in Organizational Development from the University of La Verne and a certificate from California Cognitive Behavioral Institute to facilitate in the batterers’ intervention program as mandated by courts, Probation Department, and Department of Children and Family Services in Contra Costa County. Most recently, Craig became a Certified EQ-i 2.0 Practioner where he administers, interprets, debriefs and coaches on one of the world’s most comprehensive assessment instruments on emotional intelligence and its impact on overall well-being, human performance, and development.
