My career began in the corporate sector, where I spent two years before transitioning to the non-profit world for the past eight years. During this time, I’ve taken on various roles, including admissions, intern support, accounts receivable, and most notably, financial planning.
I consider myself to be a highly curious individual, which often leads me to ask many questions. I’m comfortable admitting when I don’t know something, and I believe the saying, “The man who asks a question is a fool for a minute, the man who does not ask is a fool for life,” encapsulates my approach to learning and growth.
Currently, I am serving as the Director of FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), where I play a key role in leading and supporting the organization’s budgeting and forecasting processes. Outside of Per Scholas I also serve on the board of a small non-profit and an alumni board. I try to stay close to what’s happening politically in my city as well.
