I started in IT in the late 80’s with the EDS mainframe bootcamp that covered JCL, Assembler, and COBOL. I primarily worked in IT automotive industry focusing on a financial suite of systems (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Human Resources). I’d always trained individuals having been the subject matter expert (SME) and was happy to start sharing mainframe knowledge here at Per Scholas. I’m a single dad of twin 15 year old fraternal boys who are very active. Aside from a family dog, we have 4 chickens in our backyard for one son’s FFA project. I’m involved in 4-H, FFA, baseball, etc. Our family recently bought a ranch so I find quite a bit of time being there on the weekends. I moved a few years ago from Los Angeles to San Antonio where most of my relatives mainly live though I grew up all over with my father being in the Air Force. Started out as a mainframe instructor as Per Scholas and am transitioning into Sr. Manager Specialties role as of 9/23.
