2nd Annual Toss for Techs Columbus

This past weekend was the second annual Per Scholas Columbus corn hole fundraising tournament. Close to 20 teams participated for winning this year’s trophy, including last year’s winning team and Per Scholas Champion Partner TEKsystems who came out in full force this year with three teams. Unfortunately, it was not enough to claim the throne this year as newly crowned champion State Auto took home the gold with Vernovis coming in second place.

Event keynote Speakers included Tina Lyden, a local advisory board member (pictured below) and current Per Scholas Columbus students Chays Davis-White and David Nieh. Managing Director, Toni Cunningham, led a live auction for participants to bid on incredible swag and items.

We’d like to thank our event sponsors for helping to support this year’s tournament:

Over $20,000 was raised from the event and will go towards furthering the mission to delivering tuition-free tech training to Columbus residents.
