Benjamin Brown is currently serving as Manager of Partnership Development and New Markets. Ben is an accomplished business development and nonprofit operations professional with nearly a decade of experience advancing workforce equity through strategic partnerships and inclusive hiring practices.

Prior to joining Per Scholas, Ben served as a full-cycle recruiter and business developer, where he led high-impact recruitment initiatives and established strong client relationships across the Washington, DC and Chicago metro areas. His earlier experience includes key operational and development roles in faith-based advocacy, where he managed HR processes, donor engagement systems, internal infrastructure projects, and supported leadership through board coordination and strategic planning.

With a Bachelor’s degree in political science and religion from Wittenberg University, Ben’s career has been rooted in a deep commitment to social impact, equity, and organizational excellence. In his new role at Per Scholas, Ben is focused on forging transformative partnerships and expanding the organization’s reach to ensure more individuals from overlooked communities have access to tech careers and economic mobility.
