Per Scholas is proud to have once again been selected as an organization benefiting from The New York Times Communities Fund. This marks our third consecutive year participating in this prestigious 114-year-old tradition, which has raised over $354 million to strengthen communities through its annual holiday giving campaign.
The New York Times' recognition of Per Scholas reflects our significant impact in advancing economic mobility for communities nationwide. This honor reaffirms the strength of our proven model and the transformative power of our tech training programs. Through this support, we were able to provide 2,282 individuals with all the resources they needed to participate in our no-cost technology and AI training in 2025!
All funds raised from this campaign benefit our Career Access Fund, which lies at the heart of our commitment to providing the essential resources for learners to engage in our no-cost training. $850 covers the covers the cost of all essential materials, like textbooks, lab supplies and certification exam fees, for a learner to succeed in our training
Thanks to generous supporters like you and the New York Times Communities Fund, Per Scholas has empowered more than 30,000 individuals to pursue high-growth careers in technology. Our inclusion in The Fund for a third consecutive year offers an exciting opportunity to broaden our reach and create life-changing opportunities for even more aspiring technologists.
Donations will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $1M thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor.

Since 1995, we’ve offered no-cost tech training to more than 30,000 technologists in the most sought-after tech skills. On average, our learners earn 3x their pre-training wage in their first role after Per Scholas. With 25+ campuses and remote programs, we partner with employers—from Fortune 500 companies to startups—to create inclusive talent pipelines in fields like Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, IT Support, and Software Engineering. More than half of our learners hold a high school diploma as their highest educational credential.
