Brian is a proven industry leader with a deep specialization in IT Consulting and Advisory, Software Quality Assurance, and IT Systems Integration. He is currently the Managing Director at QA Consultants, providing IT advisory services and QA consulting to enterprise businesses. He has over 15 years of proven IT leadership with a specialty in professional services and software Quality Assurance.  As an early supporter of the inaugural Per Scholas Software Testing track with the Bronx office, Mr. Bernknopf supported, mentored, and advised both the curriculum development and students. He maintains an active role with that group and is looking forward to more involvement with the new Per Scholas Dallas, in his home city! As a mentor and teacher, Brian has continued to evangelize the value of the Per Scholas program to potential employers, donors, and other mentors through his consulting work. He is excited by the opportunity that Dallas Per Scholas has to make a meaningful difference in this city.  Previously, Brian was Senior Vice President for KMS Technology and was responsible for QA sales and solution development, along with management of the Testing practice. Prior to joining KMS, he was a Vice President at Virtusa, where he led a 2000 person global QA practice. Before Virtusa, Brian was a Principal at Capgemini and was Director of their Insurance QA Practice. Many of his engagements have focused on Quality and Risk Management, tools implementations, vendor management, COE Development, and general testing support. He is responsible for the creation of many Quality related solutions and strategies, test automation methodologies, and general development of internal and client-based QA practices. In addition to QA, Brian has experience in large program and project management, alliance management, and marketing.
