Catherine Woodcock is the Senior Director of Legal & Compliance at Per Scholas. In her role, she supports the organization’s growth by advising on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters in furtherance of its mission to expand access to economic opportunity through education and workforce training.

Catherine brings a background in regulatory, compliance, and investigations from her time at Covington & Burling LLP in Washington, DC, where she advised clients in highly regulated industries on complex legal and risk-related issues. Most recently, she founded and operated a real estate investment business in Jacksonville, Florida, where she developed a practical, business-oriented approach to navigating legal and operational challenges.

Catherine earned her law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law. Prior to law school, she was a Teach For America corps member, where she taught 10th grade English, reinforcing her longstanding commitment to education equality.
