Chris brings over 35 years of extensive experience in business operations across various industries, including technology, life sciences, energy, healthcare, and software. Over the past 7 years, he has focused on driving the establishment and growth of Registered Apprenticeship Programs within the technology sector. As Director of Talent Solutions at ActivateWork, Chris is responsible for planning and executing the organization’s overall employer sales and account management strategy.

Before joining ActivateWork, he served as Project Director at American Institutes for Research, where he provided leadership and oversight to a DOL-funded Apprenticeship Industry Intermediary Project, which focused on creating and expanding tech apprenticeships across the United States. His role involved providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and contract management.

Previously, as Chief Apprenticeship Officer for a Colorado-based software development and talent generation firm, he was instrumental in launching the first registered apprenticeship programs in software development in Colorado and Nebraska. He led efforts to craft processes, marketing, recruitment, funding, and curriculum development strategies.  As a strong advocate for tech talent development, he served in leadership roles as Co-Chair for the Boulder County Workforce Development Board and Co-Chair for the Tech Talent Boulder/Broomfield sector partnership supporting his dedication to collaborative workforce development initiatives.
