Dr. Mitchell brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in education and workforce development, with a focus on serving adult learners and underserved communities. She has led large-scale workforce transformation initiatives across multiple states and secured more than $50 million in grant funding to expand access to career-connected education and employment opportunities. Her career includes senior leadership roles, including Superintendent of Schools, Vice President of Schools, and Chief of Strategic District Supports, where she led organizational transformation efforts to strengthen workforce pipelines and improve employment outcomes.
