Joseph Thomas Briscoe is a native of South East, Washington DC. Joseph was born the youngest of five sons from John and Bessie Briscoe. Joseph is the proud husband of Stephanie D. Briscoe for 22 years and they have five children as well (3 girls and 2 boys).

Joseph graduated from Frank W. Ballou Senior High School in Washington, DC in 1992. After getting his diploma Mr. Briscoe continued his education studying Psychology with a minor in Sociology at Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem North Carolina.

Mr. Briscoe has collectively acquired 25 years of professional experience that includes education and mental health services. From teaching in private to public schools to directing grant programs on the college level collectively for 15 years. Joseph decided to further his education again by pursuing his master’s degree in education with a concentration in the Arts of Teaching and Educational Leadership at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.

Presently Joseph’s goal is to grow his career with Per Scholas to support the technology community and workforce development with elevating professional development and career advancement through professional mentoring and coaching.
