With an extensive background in people management, leadership development, business development, and social media marketing and management, LaShawn R. Murray is well known for her role as a consultant to numerous small businesses. With over seventeen years of experience, she began her management career in customer service and retail management. LaShawn is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated from Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD, with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication.

While in college, LaShawn became involved in numerous campus organizations where she was exposed to other like-minded individuals who had a love for community development and support. At Morgan State University, she learned the importance of serving others and working towards a greater mission to support communities in areas such as mentoring, education, and financial literacy. She loves giving back to the communities in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas through financial support, volunteering, and mentoring. LaShawn believes that life is all about exposing yourself to something different and being comfortable enough with yourself to step out of your comfort zone.
