While pursuing her Accounting degree at Florida State University, Lori Ford was fortunate to be introduced to the Social Work department where it was love at first sight. Since obtaining her Masters of Social Work degree there, she’s had experiences working with a variety of populations including at-risk youth, domestic/sexual violence victims and first generation/college bound students. In her most recent position as a Financial Empowerment Counselor, she was able to combine her love of numbers (and money) with her love of helping others.

In her free time, you can find her in the garden, finding deals at a neighborhood thrift store, and moving to the beat at Jazzercise classes.
