Lowell Robinson is affiliated with PhenixFin and is a board member of Per Scholas, as well as a corporate executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across finance, operations, corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and governance. Throughout his career, he has served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for both Fortune 100 companies and high-growth public companies spanning consumer products, financial services, technology, software, digital media, and biopharmaceuticals. Lowell has also served on numerous public company boards, where he has chaired audit, compensation, transaction, and special committees, including multiple appointments as board chair and audit committee chair.

Prior to joining Per Scholas’ Board of Directors, Lowell held executive leadership positions with organizations including Citigroup, Kraft, Mars, Valassis/Advo, PRT Group, HotJobs, Yahoo!, and MIVA. He currently serves on the board of PhenixFIN Corporation, where he is a member of the Audit Committee and Chair of the Compensation Committee. His previous public company board service includes Barnes & Noble Education, The Jones Group, Aratana Therapeutics, Higher One, EVINE/ShopHQ, International Wire Group, Edison Schools, and several other public and private organizations across a range of industries.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Lowell serves on the boards and advisory groups of several nonprofit and educational organizations, including the New York Academy of Sciences, the University of Wisconsin Department of Economics Advisory Board, and the Harvard Business School Club of New York. He previously served on the boards of the Council for Economic Education, the Smithsonian Libraries, and the Metropolitan Opera Guild. Lowell earned an MBA in Finance from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin.
