I come alive when I’m brainstorming with fellow team members and using my creative energy, whether curating targeted content or a delicious meal! I received my BA in Anthropology with a minor in History, from Arizona State University. Nearing the end of my Bachelor’s, I gained the wonderful opportunity to become an AmeriCorps VISTA for The City of Avondale. During my service, I engaged with the many schools within the area to speak to students about the importance of Civic Service and Engagement, as well as planned 5+ environmental clean-up opportunities around Avondale.
Following my service as a VISTA, I embarked on my adventure with The Thunderbird School of Global Management where I received my Master of Arts in Global Affairs and Management in May of 2019. During my time there I led several clubs, including Net Impact, and operated on a consulting team to deliver marketing/branding solutions for our client. I gained experience as an intern with Make-A-Wish America and Net Impact. Since graduating, I have worked in project management and career services.
I’m an active volunteer for The Phoenix Zoo, National Organization for Women, and Planned Parenthood. I’m also a member of the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations and the Phoenix Global Shapers Chapter. More so, I’m a certified yoga instructor through Affirmations & Innovations Yoga (a virtual yoga studio), certified Front End Developer through SheCodes, self-proclaimed vegan home-chef/baker, multimedia artist, avid hiker, and a medaling powerlifter. I have large aspirations and drive, with an innate desire to help those around me.
