Nydia Keir graduated from Per Scholas Greater Boston’s IT Support class in March 2020 and is CompTIA CIOS Certified (A+ Network+). In her current role as Clinical Mobility and Device Integration Analyst at Boston Children’s Hospital, she is part of the team tasked with the rollout of the first private 5G hospital-based network in the United States. Her team is also involved in deployment of new clinical communication devices and integrating bedside medical device output streams. An associate member of Jack and Jill of America Newton Chapter and a current member of the employee advisory group for the community at Boston Children’s Hospital, Nydia has a nursing background and has been working in the IT field for 10 years. Previous volunteer roles include peer mentor and Girl Scout troop leader. Boston Children’s is ranked among the best in the nation by U.S. News and World Report and is the primary pediatric teaching hospital for Harvard Medical School.
