Todd Derby is the Senior Managing Director for Per Scholas, Pittsburgh. In this role, Todd leads the strategic and programmatic direction for Per Scholas in the Pittsburgh market. Although Todd was born and raised in Pittsburgh, he started his career in Philadelphia, leading and serving across programs within the University of Pennsylvania’s Division of Equity and Access, including the Pennsylvania College Achievement Program, Veterans Upward Bound, and Educational Talent Search. After nearly ten years in Philadelphia – a place that Todd considers a second “home,” – he moved back to Pittsburgh to serve as Higher Achievement’s Director of Programs and Regional Director. Todd holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Allegheny College and master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of the office, Todd spends his free time mountain biking, coaching Little League, and playing hockey in the driveway with his son, Bo.
