About the partnership
BNY Mellon has partnered with Per Scholas since 2014, providing both philanthropic and volunteer support to Per Scholas’ Boston, New York, and Pittsburgh campuses. BNY Mellon’s most recent investments directly support AWS re/Start and Software Engineering training for learners at these locations, preparing them for in-demand careers in tech. BNY Mellon employees consistently give their time and talent to Per Scholas learners, donating hundreds of volunteer hours at virtual and in-person mock interviews, resume reviews, and lunch-and-learn sessions. In addition to providing guidance and financial support, BNY Mellon has directly invested in Per Scholas alumni by hiring more than 25 graduates since 2012, providing a pathway for our learners to enter well-paying, meaningful careers in tech.
