Flexible and Part-Time IT Support Attendance Policy

Our courses have a strict attendance requirement. Be sure to review the information below to familiarize yourself with expectations regarding course attendance.

Required Live Instruction & Professional Development

• Check the “Schedule Options” tab to see the designated hours.
• Flexible IT Support:
  • 2-Hour Mandatory Live Tech Instruction (Mondays or Wednesdays)
  • 1 Hour Mandatory Professional Development (Fridays)
• Part-Time IT Support:
  • 3 Hours Daily Mandatory Live Tech Instruction (M, T, Th, F)
  • 3 Hours Mandatory Professional Development (Wednesdays)

Attendance Policy

• Important – Attendance for at least 1 session during Week 1 is required.
• Maximum Allowed Absences and Tardies:
  • Five (5) Tardies
  • Four (4) Absences
• Definitions:
  • Tardy = Missing more than 5 minutes of a lecture.
  • Part-Time Course Absence = Missing more than 1 hour of lecture (Attendance taken daily)
  • Flexible Course Absence = Missing either the PD lecture or both Tech lectures (Attendance taken weekly)
• Exceeding allowed absences or tardies or not attending Week 1 may result in dismissal from the cohort.
