Per Scholas is proud to have once again been selected as an organization benefitting from The New York Times Communities Fund. This marks our second consecutive year participating in this prestigious 113-year-old tradition, which has raised over $337 million to strengthen communities through its annual holiday giving campaign.
The New York Times' recognition of Per Scholas reflects our significant impact in advancing economic equity for diverse communities nationwide. This honor reaffirms the strength of our proven model and the transformative power of our tech training programs. Through this support, we were able to provide 1,163 individuals with all the resources they needed to participate in our tuition-free IT training in 2024!
All funds raised from this campaign benefit our Career Access Fund, which lies at the heart of our commitment to providing the essential resources for learners to engage in our no-cost training. $700 covers the covers the cost of all essential materials, like textbooks, lab supplies and certification exam fees, for a learner to succeed in our training
Thanks to generous supporters like you and the New York Times Communities Fund, Per Scholas has empowered more than 25,000 individuals to pursue high-growth careers in technology. Our inclusion in The Fund for a second consecutive year offers an exciting opportunity to broaden our reach and create life-changing opportunities for even more aspiring technologists.
Donations will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $1.2M thanks to the generosity of Per Scholas’ National Board
