Per Scholas Tech Prep Work: Critical Facilities Technician
To engage with introductory topics that ensure you are prepared for day 1 of technical training, many of Per Scholas curriculums require learners to complete Self-Study Tech Prep Work due to the fast-paced, rigorous nature of our bootcamp-style training.
Required Tech Prep Work:
- Step 1: Complete the Required Courses
- Step 2: Upload your Proof of Completion to the Submission Portal
Required Courses:
- Numbers, Units, and Arithmetic Course (5 Hours)
- Introduction to Electronics Course (10-15 Hours)

Alison’s content is free, but the certificate requires payment. As a result, we ask that you show course completion for each course via the following steps:
- Go to your learner dashboard within Alison via alison.com/dashboard
- You should see the applicable course(s) as Completed Courses.
- Note: A paid certificate of completion is not needed.
- Capture a full screenshot of the two courses below as completed.
- Numbers, Units, and Arithmetic Course
- Introduction to Electronics Course
- Title this screenshot with your full name and courses.
- Upload the screenshot to the submission portal above.

Tech Prep Work Deadline
Tech Prep Work is due prior to Seat Offers. Applicants are encouraged to have their Tech Prep Work completed before they interview.
