Erez Barkai is a Director of Engineering at Wayfair. Prior to this role, Erez was the Vice President of product engineering at CNBC where oversaw CNBC’s digital products across a diverse set of platforms serving hundreds of millions of users worldwide. Prior to joining CNBC, Erez was an engineering leader at Paypal’s Venmo brand and before that he was the founding CTO at YouNow a live video social network overseeing product and engineering with teams in NYC and Tel-Aviv Israel. Erez has over 20 years of technology experience and holds a B.A. in Computer Science with a minor in systems architecture from Concordia University in Montreal Canada. He is honored and proud to serve on the NY Advisory Board for Per Scholas New York.
