Prior to joining the Per Scholas team, Jessica was Senior Vice President of Philanthropy for Step Up, a nonprofit organization that runs mentoring programs for high-school-aged girls living or going to school in under-resourced communities.  As the first head of fundraising for the organization, Jessica was responsible for the strategy and execution of all fundraising activities and served on the leadership team.  She is an accomplished mission-driven professional with more than 15 years of experience driving effective philanthropy for the nonprofit sector. Her efforts have focused on organizations working in the education, social justice and environmental spaces. She got her Bachelor’s degree from Boston University. Jessica lives in Brooklyn with her boyfriend, spends weekends at the beach in Sea Bright, NJ or hiking, and is an avid yogi.
