As the Chief People Officer for Per Scholas, Montreece brings 20+ years of creating, refining & operationalizing equitable people-centric strategies to attract, engage, empower and retain key talent to drive business results. Montreece is a forward-thinking problem solver, known for “connecting the dots” across the organization in growing fast-paced environments. At Per Scholas, Montreece is a key member of the National Leadership Team, accountable for the People Strategy and its connection to the philanthropic yet entrepreneurial culture. 

Though Montreece has been an employee since early 2019, she has been a part of the Per Scholas family since 2015 – as a Volunteer, then as Chair of the Per Scholas Dallas Advisory Board, and ultimately serving as part of our National Board of Directors. Montreece has been recognized as a Black Achiever in Industry by the Harlem YMCA. In addition, she has been a featured speaker for numerous fine organizations, including: National African American Insurance Association, Anita Borg Institute, National Society of Hispanic MBAs, and the University of Southern California’s Center for Effective Organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Western Governors University. 

Montreece lives in Dallas; she is a wife and proud mother of three adult children.

Contributions from these campaigns will fuel Per Scholas’ Career Access Fund, providing thousands of diverse learners in 2024 with everything they need to unlock their potential through tuition-free tech training.
