Carleton Foster

Prior to attending Per Scholas, Carleton Foster graduated from The Excel Center®, Goodwill’s high school for adults, to earn his diploma and expand his career possibilities. Carleton was the first graduate of The Excel Center’s Anderson, Indiana, location. 

For over a year, Goodwill has partnered with Per Scholas to grow equity and diversity in Indianapolis’ tech sector. Per Scholas Indianapolis’ office operates out of Goodwill’s Indianapolis headquarters, providing local residents, like Carleton, with training and education opportunities that will allow them to launch thriving careers in tech. 

After graduating from Goodwill’s Excel Center®, Carleton participated in Per Scholas Indianapolis’ inaugural IT Support cohort, graduating with his CompTIA+, Network+, and Security+ certifications. As with all of our technologists, the total cost of Carleton’s training and certification exams were covered by Per Scholas. 

Carleton now works as an intern with the IT department at Goodwill Education Initiatives. He is excited to be officially embarking on his tech career journey. “I’m happy and thankful for the opportunities I was offered through Per Scholas and The Excel Center,” Carlton said.
