Women in Tech Graduation Ceremony featured in Bronx Free Press

On February 13, 2013, the fifth Women in Tech class graduated from Per Scholas. Ninety percent of the enrolled students graduated and 100-percent of the graduates are now CompTIA A+ certified — a first in the women-only training history. This historical class caught the attention of the Bronx Free Press who wrote a piece on this emotional ceremony.

Congrats to the 18 women, the dedicated staff, and supportive family and community for completing this milestone. A special thank you to the Women in Tech program funders who make this possible, the Fifth & Pacific Foundation and the New York Women’s Foundation.
