  • Per Scholas manages an email alias to address incoming accommodation support tickets from learners.
  • Our facilities are designed to be accessible to learners with mobility impairments, featuring ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms.

ADA Accommodations

We offer a variety of accommodations and support services tailored to meet the individual needs of our learners with disabilities. Every ADA Accommodation request is reviewed on a learner-by-learner basis. Requests for accommodations may require supporting documentation.

Common ADA Accommodations include but are not limited to:

  • Assistive Technologies: We provide access to assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnification software, and text-to-speech programs to support Learners with visual, hearing, or learning disabilities.
  • Flexible Learning Options: We offer online and hybrid learning options to accommodate learners who may have difficulty attending in-person classes.
  • Exam and Assignment Accommodations: Extended time, alternative formats, and other adjustments are available to ensure equitable assessment conditions.
  • Interpreters and Note-Takers: Space can also be available in the virtual or on-prem classroom for a learner’s personally obtained interpreter or notetaker.
  • Service Animals on Campus: Service Animals can be approved for on-campus learners.

ADA Accommodation Requests

We respect your privacy and handle all accommodation requests and documentation with strict confidentiality. Information is shared only with those directly involved in the accommodation process.

To request accommodations, learners will

  1. Submit a Request: Email [email protected]. Learners will be asked to submit a form formalizing the request.
  2. Provide Documentation: Submit medical documentation from a qualified evaluator that includes:
    • A clear diagnosis of disability
    • Discussion of current functional limitations
    • Specific recommendations for accommodations
    • A rationale for the requested accommodations
  3. Meet with Our Team: After submitting the request and documentation, learners will connect with our accommodation team to discuss needs and finalize the accommodation plan, if approved.

*Please note that, depending on the vendor used in the training, learners may be required to seek out accommodations with vendors like CompTIA separately.
