Daler is a Software Engineer at Capgemini after graduating from Per Scholas in 2020 amid the global pandemic. Prior to his training at Per Scholas, Daler came to the United States and pursued a job in hospitality and business management before realizing he wanted to return to his passion in an IT role. He researched different opportunities for IT training to help him with a gap in technology industry work, which is when he came across Per Scholas and started in February 2020.
A few weeks into his training track, the course went fully remote due to COVID-19 and he mentioned that his experience was still positive, engaging, and supportive. Noting his success throughout his training, he mentioned, “when you understand this is an immersive course that is traditionally taught in 4 years, completed in 12 – 16 weeks, and put in the effort, you will be on the right path for your career.” Daler was then connected with Capgemini and their internship program, which then led to his present full-time employment. “Per Scholas organized an event with Capgemini where I had an opportunity to speak with the regional CEO directly to discuss my career path. Within a day or two I got a response from the recruitment team which led to my internship and position,” he mentioned of the start of his experience connecting with Capgemini through Per Scholas. Daler plans to continue his learning and expand his expertise as he runs his own division and mentors his team.
