Junior Software Developer
Lionel Youmbi is a Junior Software Developer at Capgemini after graduating from Per Scholas Charlotte in 2020. Originally from Cameroon, Lionel has a background in Mathematics.
Seeking a practical application for his studies, he turned to computer science. Lionel came across Per Scholas during an online search. As a busy parent of two, he found the program to be time-consuming and intense, but his colleagues and instructors helped him through the process. “I learned all the basics and had good hands-on training from Per Scholas,” Lionel reflected. “I am able to build on those skills; Per Scholas ensured that after graduation we had all the support we needed to be able to find a job.”
After graduating, Lionel started an internship at Capgemini, which he found through a Per Scholas alumni forum, and he has since begun working there full time. “A Per Scholas learner gains all the requirements for an entry level position.
