Pre-Work
To ensure learners with or without previous experience are best prepared on Day 1 of their course, many of Per Scholas curriculums require learners to complete Self-Study Pre-Work prior to enrollment due to the fast-paced, rigorous nature of our bootcamp-style training.
Prospective learners are encouraged to begin Pre-Work as soon as possible in the Admissions Process. In 2025, Pre-Work will be required prior to Admissions Decisions for IT Support, IT Support with Data Center, Cybersecurity, AWS re/Start, Salesforce Administrator, and Software Engineer.
Curriculum with Required Pre-Work
- IT Support or Equivalent (Flexible IT Support, Part-Time, IT Data Center Technician, IT Support and Security Fundamentals)

In 2024, only Flexible and Part-Time IT Support learners have required Pre-Work. In 2025, all IT Support, IT Support with Data Center, and IT Support and Security Fundamentals cohorts require the following Pre-Work.
