Demetra Brown is a social impact leader passionate about realizing a world where everyone can
benefit from and contribute to economic opportunity. Demetra has 10+ years of experience
leading high-performing teams in multiple sectors and 6 years of experience in nonprofit
leadership and program development. She is a subject matter expert in the topics of worker
mobility and entrepreneur support with a focus on centering racial equity. Demetra currently
serves as a Senior Program Manager with Promise Venture Studio. As an economic opportunity
champion, she is also working to build solutions that address the disparate promotion and
income gains for women of color in the workplace. Beyond her professional endeavors, she
enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
