Emily Head graduated from the University of Virginia in 2019 with the desire to help reduce economic inequality in the United States. Prior to joining the Per Scholas team, Emily was a paralegal working with socioeconomically disadvantaged defendants facing capital punishment. She lives in Brooklyn and in her free time enjoys creating multimedia art, exploring the city, and troubleshooting DIY projects.
