Jermaine Henson, Vice President, IT Applications is responsible for leading Software Development Services for Nationwide. In this role Jermaine partners with Chief Technology Officers to enable and accelerate business outcomes through software engineering practices and deliverables.

 

Jermaine previously served as Vice President, IT Applications responsible for developing and maintaining technology platforms that support Personal Lines Policy Administration, Customer Acquisition and Underwriting. Jermaine also served as Associate Vice President, IT Applications responsible for Services Oriented Architecture, Enterprise Information Management and IT Service Management solutions that support ITIL processes.

 

Earlier in his career Jermaine served as Director, IT Operations. In this position Jermaine was responsible for managing 7x24x365 data center operations to ensure the availability of mission critical business applications and IT Systems. Jermaine was also responsible for high impact /urgency incident management and production data analytics. 

Jermaine is very active in his community. Jermaine has served as a Big Brother for Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Central Ohio, as the United Way Chair for Nationwide IT and as Treasurer of the Board for a non-profit organization. He currently serves as an ambassador for diversity and inclusion through his participation with recruiting diverse talent at the annual National Black MBA conference.
