As Senior Vice President, People, LaToya Ball is a strategic executive leader whose work is powered by a personal mission: helping people become the best version of themselves. This focus is what drives her every day at Per Scholas. With over 15 years of experience, LaToya is recognized as an HR Transformation Leader and Talent Optimization Architect, known for operational discipline and a people-first philosophy that strengthens culture. She specializes in building and scaling the People function—and shaping an inclusive, high-performance culture that delivers measurable business outcomes. She manages the entire People Experience, from talent acquisition and operations to employee relations, ensuring the organization is always strategically positioned for growth.
When she’s not leading organizational change, LaToya is dedicated to bridging gaps and investing in her community, a value she lives out through over twenty years of service focused on leadership and people development. Originally from Ohio, her life outside of work centers on family, traveling, and a deep love for all things art and music. She brings this passion for connection and development into her professional life, which is why her work at Per Scholas—helping people find their best selves—aligns so closely with who she is. LaToya holds multiple advanced degrees from Franklin University, including M.S. degrees in Human Resource Management and Strategic Integrated Marketing & Communications, and she serves on the Newark Workforce Development Board.
