Maria Holmes is retired from her role as Director of Community Impact for Comcast Heartland Region including Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. Comcast is a multinational telecommunications company headquartered in Philadelphia, PA. They are the largest home internet provider and second largest broadcasting and cable television company in the US.

Maria’s career spans nearly 40 years in External Affairs including video production management (technical, talent & producing), government affairs (managed relationships for more than fifty government agencies including negotiating contracts and compliance tracking) in addition to her current role in community social responsibility and digital equity.

Maria has been involved with numerous non-profits serving on executive and advisory boards, church administration, in addition to employee volunteer & nonprofit leadership engagement. She has received numerous awards and recognitions for her work in the industry over the years.

Maria and her husband, Solomon have been married for 44 years and have three adult children gainfully employed in the fields of law, architecture, and digital animation here in Michigan.
