Gibbons Digital Gets the Women in Tech Social Media Savvy

To get 2013 off to a 21st Century start, Bridget Gibbons, CEO of Gibbons Digital, is presenting to our Women in Tech program on the ins and outs of taking the process of networking and job searching to the next level using social media. Gibbons will be on-site January 9 at our Bronx location.

Gibbons will coach on how to leverage tools like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube and blogs to develop a career-focused networking strategy. She will teach on the new trends to help the students from our all-women’s IT job training implement a professional online presence to connect with hiring managers, recruiters and career contacts through web savvy company research and profile building. Eighty-percent of the graduates from the Per Scholas IT job training and Women in Tech program land jobs following training and keeping our students up-to-date with the latest trends is how we will maintain these life-changing outcomes.

Bridget Gibbons brings more than two decades of business, technology, human resources and marketing experience to her role as CEO of Gibbons Digital Consultants, where she and her team provide a full range of services to help small businesses increase market share, including comprehensive, long-term strategy, daily presence management and customized training on a wide range of social media sites.
